Ontario Public Library Week, October 15-21, 2017

Ontario Public Library Week Logo. Show your card. Shop Local. Support your Library.

Ontario Public Library week is an annual celebration of the value and impact of public libraries on the lives of Ontarians. This year, the Whitby Public Library, in partnership with the Downtown Whitby Business Improvement Area (BIA), is transforming your library card into an access pass for perks at local businesses in Downtown Whitby for one week (and one week only!). Keep your eyes peeled for the WPL Perks sign at participating businesses.

This program is just one of the many perks that you recieve with your library card. Take advantage of this perk and rediscover some of the others found at your library: homework help, literacy, navigating the digital work, job searching, career advancement, business services and more!
