Steal Away Home by Karolyn Smardz Frost tells the harrowing true story of a fifteen-year-old escaped slave who found freedom in Canada and returned to her childhood home many years later as a free woman.  

Karolyn is a recipient of the Governor General's Award and the Mathieu Da Costa Award from the Ontario Black History Society. Join us for this special book-talk, Q & A with the author and book signing. Paperback copies will be available for purchase.
