Discover Your Community

  • Explore Whitby's past through photographs, newspapers and exhibits from the Archives.
  • Become part of the seed sharing community. The Seed Share provides access to locally saved seed and knowledge for anyone interested in growing food, attracting pollinators, saving their own seed and contributing to this public resource.
  • Books are better when they’re shared! Join one of our book clubs.
  • Skate, swim and visit a local park or museum with one of our community passes. Rapid Passes are also available on a first come first served basis.
  • Find titles by Durham Region authors of all ages in the Durham Indie Collection.
  • Earn volunteer hours as a Teen Advisory Group Member (grades 7–12).
  • Discover local artists, crafters, collectors and Whitby's diverse community in our Display and Exhibit spaces.
