Public Computers

All locations of the Whitby Public Library have Internet computer stations available for public use.  The workstations provide access to the Internet, Microsoft Office 2010 products (Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint), and convenient links to information databases.   Autodesk123 Design and Makerware software is available if you wish to design your own 3D printer object.  Library card holders can login using their barcode and PIN and use the machines for up to 2 hours per day.  Visitors can obtain a guest pass from staff and have 60 minutes of computer time.

Wi-Fi at the Library

Image of the library's Wi-Fi logo.All locations of the Whitby Public Library offer Wi-Fi.  Simply bring in your Wi-Fi enabled device that includes an Internet browser to the library, turn it on and go.  You must read and acknowledge the terms and conditions before accessing the Internet on your device. 

The service is available throughout the Central Library, including Celebration Square, and at both branch libraries.
